    Thanks for five minutes.

  2. Mr. Brandt

    You have three. Go.

  3. Dana

    Socks. But they know which foot they’re on.

  4. Mr. Brandt

    Why would a sock need to know that?

  5. Dana

    So you never put them on wrong.

  6. Mr. Brandt

    Socks don’t have a wrong.

  7. Dana

    That’s what everyone thinks. That’s the opportunity.

  8. Mr. Brandt

    How do they know?

  9. Dana

    A little chip.

  10. Mr. Brandt

    A chip in a sock.

  11. Dana

    Waterproof. Mostly.

  12. Mr. Brandt

    And when they’re on the wrong foot?

    They tell you.

    How?

  15. Dana

    They beep.

  16. Mr. Brandt

    My feet would beep.

    Only if you’re wrong.

    Get out of my office.
